Sanibel Dining & Entertainment

Island Entertainment
Lest anyone think these islands are just about art and nature, be assured visitors will find an assortment of evening entertainment as well.

Live music in a dinner and club-like venue can be heard at Dolce Vita, Ellington's Jazz Bar and Grill, the Jacaranda and Key Lime Bistro, to name but a few. Dance the night away!

For more casual entertainment, check out the NASCRAB races held at the bar at 'Tween Waters Inn, join the sing-along at the Island Cow, or jam with the Troubleshooters on Sunday nights at the American Legion post on San-Cap Road.

BIG ARTS on Dunlop Road brings an extensive program of musical events to the island during season, and the Schoolhouse Theatre on Periwinkle Way has been entertaining visitors and residents for many years with musical production both old and new.

Dining
Good seafood is a must on any island, and the restaurants on our barrier island home certainly deliver!

Delicious meals are available at all times of day and in all atmospheres from casual to formal. Check out the delectable delights in the marina-side casual setting of Gramma Dot's, the traditional atmospheres of Timbers and the Sanibel Grille, or the elegance of Thistle Lodge and Dolce Vita.

There's something for everyone here, whether it's hot dogs at Schnapper's, ice cream at Dairy Queen, latte at The Sanibel Bean, breakfast all day at Amy's Over Easy, or the finest cuts of beef at the Sanibel Steakhouse.

For a complete listing of island restaurants, be sure to check out our Sanibel Dining page.
